I recently got three newts for my 29 gallon fish tank. I put a lilly pad in for them to get out on and custom cut a thin sheet of plastic to cover the gap in the back of my tank. After a few days, I noticed only one of my newts remained. I searched all over in and outside of the tank for the newts and I think they went to my cat unfortunately. I put the last one in a well sealed tank of it's own for the time being. I would like to put the last newt back into my tank but want the tank sealed completely. The filter, carbon injector and thermometer make it a little hard to enclose completely. Please tell me the best way to seal my tank. Thank you!
